A special request at 04:30 hours from the Columbus Alarm Office resulted in the Box 15 Rehab Unit responding to Columbus’ southwest area to provide service during the very cold morning hours. The 1 story manufacturing facility was well involved upon arrival of first due companies. The business manufactured wooden pallets. The closest hydrant required a hose lay of about 1000’.  The fire occurred at the beginning of a significant snow and ice storm.  By the time the rehab unit had left the scene an hour later, more than 2 inches of snow had fallen.
