Box 15 upgrades equipment to improve operations

 In an effort to modernize the Box 15 fleet, we have recently installed iPads in two of our vehicles.  The iPads will allow us to enter Run Reports immediately, process credit card apparel sales via the Square Register app and by using Active 911, we now have CAD based dispatching capabilities that can be used by any Agency to call us out.  Active 911 allows us to be instantly notified; we can mark “responding” and view the location of other members that use Active 911, and get voice-based turn-by-turn directions to the incident scene.  Additionally, using a messaging app, we are able to reduce radio traffic by sending text messages to other members.
