Hot, Humid, and Film at 11

Tuesday, June 25 was one of those summer days when you hope that nothing major happens. With the temperatures in the low 90's, plenty of humidity,  and the hottest part of the day, Columbus Fire received a call of a fire in a large warehouse. While it could have been a whole lot worse, this 2-alarm fire would be tough on the firefighters. Box 15 Rehab 1 responded with a crew of 4 to provide cold water, rehab towels, and other support services. During our 4 hour deployment, we were approached by a reporter from Channel 6 to do a story about the effects of the heat on the firefighters. Box 15 was given a prominent role in what they broadcast. It's always nice to have the opportunity to get our story out to the public.
